The SPCA of Luzerne County feels strongly that dogs should be judged by their individual actions, not by stereotypes attached to their breed. Pitbull-type dogs are among the most misunderstood animals we see, yet time and time again they prove to be loving, loyal, goofy, affectionate companions who simply want to be loved.
Every day, we watch these incredible dogs get overlooked because of labels and misconceptions. We believe education, responsible ownership, and compassion are what truly matter, not fear or discrimination.
